Moving teeth into straighter positions can result in healthier gum tissue, less tooth mobility (loose teeth), improved pocketing, and reducing the risk of tooth loss. It can also help prevent cracked and broken teeth, by correcting occlusion problems that cause certain teeth to take excessive bite force and can lead to problems.
